Considering the recent Government announcement to avoid all unnecessary travel Capricorn Campers will currently only provide hires for the following reasons:
- To support the UK Government and NHS where required
- To assist key workers
- For essential work-related travel/accommodation e.g. engineers conducting critical safety inspections
We are in the process of contacting all customers who have booked to travel with us during the period ending 30 June 2020 to discuss your postponement/cancellation options.
You can now amend your holiday date free of charge. If you do not know what dates would be suitable, we can issue you with a credit which will be valid for travel within 18 months of your holiday start date. As an example, if you were due to travel 1st May 2020, this credit would expire 1st November 2021. Should you switch from off peak to peak times there will be a rate difference to pay.
During these unprecedented times, we have reviewed and relaxed our cancellation policy as follows:
More than 6 weeks prior to your hire start date
You can postpone your holiday free of charge, if you decide to cancel you will lose your deposit only
6 weeks to 2 weeks prior to your hire start date
You can postpone your holiday free of charge, if you decide to cancel you will receive a 50% refund
2 weeks prior to your hire start
Postponement option and refunds not available - (with the exeption of hires due to travel by 6th April)
Furthermore, the cancelation administration fee of £45 will be removed during the restricted travel period.
We would like to say a massive thank you to all the customers we have so far spoken to for your continued support and understanding during these unprecedented times.
We are a very flexible business and fortunate enough to operate with very minimal overheads, as with every seasonal “winter” period we can scale back and adjust the business accordingly. We are financially very well structured for the long-term so rest assured we will be poised ready to go as soon as it is safe for UK leisure travel to resume.
